Protect your P.C with these effective yet free Softwares – AVAST and McAfee

Hey guys this time I don’t have a physical freebies, but virtual and most effective freebie..
Though this thing is known by most of us, but there are few people who still relay on Pirated software for there Comp protection…
I urge you to stop it and go for FREE yet MOST Effective Anti virus Software available..
Right now I have 2 things on list, though there are many more available, but these are best two!

One, is AVAST, my personal favorite and my long favorite Anti Virus software, which is protecting my P.C from long time and is damn effective and its completely free. Avast is giving its Home Version for free from past many years, install it and experience the level of protection it gives to your system. All you have to do is download the software and get a license key which is free and valid for one year.. (Don’t worry its free even after one year, just need to re-register!)

Two, is McAfee and its a premium brand and damn effective Anti-Virus which I haven’t tried but have heard of being a good one from many of my buddies. This software is generally sold for $ 39.99 , but thank Mridul who is sharing a voucher code, where in you can download it for free!!
This is a one year subscription and maybe we will find another voucher code by next year…
All you need here to do is, enter the voucher code and download the one year licenced software, install it and finally thank Mridul for the help! :)

Get free Linux Operating Software:Stop Piracy*

Hello Indians, well this is quite unusual way of addressing but the topic is somehow related to we Indians (including me for the matter…)
Anyways about the topic, get yourself free Operating Software, which do run like your Windows and sometimes better than that, and guess what these Linux software are always free and Legal to Copy, Distribute and even change the Software itself..
I have two such software for you, so most of us who are using pirated Windows XP, stop it and use Ubuntu or BOSS (An Indian Version of OS, made by Indians for Indians!)
So are you thinking of changing a bit (Like I did?)
Get yourself these DVDs/CDs/Download legally for free..
For Ubuntu, Click here..
For BOSS, Download from here, or collect for free from here (if cant personally collect,they will send you for free, just write to them)

Not only are these softwares free, now even get Windows based application for free..
Just walk into your nearest NIIT or Aptech or more in this List with your School or College i.d Card and get your self Legal Copies of Softwares from MircroSoft, more info is here..

Chikka : Send/Receive SMS to any mobile thru gTalk!

This would not be a new post for most of you, as Chikka was started long ago an most of us know about it..
Anyways this is for those who don’t know about it!!

Chikka is a sms messenger, You can send a long msg of 360 characters to any cell for free!!
In India Chikka has a tie up with Indiatimes and by downloading their messenger you can send free sms to any cell in India and also to other countries!
This is all about the direct method by entering phone no.
Now this is a lil’ tweak, you can also send sms to anyone in the world from your Google messenger!!
All you need to do is add his no. into your contacts and see the fun!
Add no. in this format:
[CountryCode][MobileNumber]@chikkatalk.com (e.g. 91xxxxxxxxxx@chikkatalk.com)
